Find the nearest bus stop and take bus number 10, 14, or 27. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach 'Plaza de las Cortes' stop. Once you get off, you will be right at the plaza. The area is pedestrian-friendly, so you can easily explore the surroundings.

From the famous 'Puerta del Sol', head east towards Calle de Alcalá. Continue straight until you reach Plaza de Cibeles. From there, turn left onto Paseo del Prado and walk straight for about 15 minutes. Plaza de las Cortes will be on your left, just a short distance after you pass the Museo del Prado.
