Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near a Metro station, take Line 5 (green line) towards Casa de Campo. Get off at the 'Opera' station. From Opera station, take exit 'Plaza de Isabel II'. Walk towards the Plaza de Isabel II and you will see the Royal Palace of Madrid straight ahead as you cross the square.

  • Bus

    Look for a bus stop near you and take either Line 25, 39, or 46. All of these lines will take you to 'Plaza de Oriente', which is the closest bus stop to the Royal Palace. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the palace entrance, which is located at the west side of the palace.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the city center, you can easily walk to the Royal Palace. From the 'Puerta del Sol', head west along 'Calle Mayor'. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the 'Plaza de Oriente'. The Royal Palace will be on your left as you approach the square.

  • Taxi or Ride-Sharing

    You can also book a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber or Cabify. Simply provide the driver with the address Centro, 28071 Madrid, and they will take you directly to the Royal Palace entrance.
