Getting There

Walking
From the center of Ella, head towards the Ella Railway Station. Once you reach the station, continue on the main road (Ella - Haputale Road) for about 1 kilometer. You will pass a few shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the sign for 'Ella Rock View Point' on your left. Follow the sign, and you will enter a small path that leads up to the viewpoint. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.

Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer to take a tuk-tuk, you can easily find one near the Ella Railway Station or in the town center. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Ella Rock View Point' (or 'Rawanaella'). The ride will take about 10 minutes, and the fare should be around 300-500 LKR. The driver will drop you off at the entrance to the viewpoint, from where you will need to walk a short distance to reach the actual viewpoint.
