If you're driving, head towards the center of Kandy. From the Kandy Clock Tower, proceed on the A26 road. After about 1.5 km, take a left on to the Hantana Road. Continue for approximately 2 km until you see the entrance to Udawaththakele Forest Park on your right, just past the roundabout at 7JXR+M3F.

To reach the Entrance of Royal Forest Park Udawaththakele via public transport, head to the Kandy Bus Station. From there, take a bus heading towards Hantana. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Udawaththakele Forest Park. The fare is approximately 50-100 LKR. Once you get off, walk up the road for about 500 meters to reach the entrance.
