Getting There

Tuk-Tuk
If you are starting from Kandy city center, head to the main road where tuk-tuks are readily available. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Glenloch Tea Factory on Nuwara Eliya Road.' The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. The driver will take you along the Nuwara Eliya Road, which is scenic and offers beautiful views. Keep an eye out for the Glenloch Tea Factory sign on the left side of the road.

From the Kandy Bus Station, look for buses heading to Nuwara Eliya. Ensure you take a bus that stops at 'Katukitula' or 'Glenloch.' The bus ride will take around 45 minutes. When you reach Katukitula, ask the conductor to let you know when you arrive. Once you get off the bus, walk about 5 minutes towards the tea factory, which should be visible from the road.

If you are staying in a nearby area, you can walk to Glenloch Tea Factory. From Kandy city, head towards Nuwara Eliya Road. It is about 8 kilometers away, and the walk will take you approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Walk along the road, enjoying the lush greenery and tea plantations on your way.
