Walking
Start from the Kandy City Center, heading south on Dalada Vidiya street. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Peradeniya Road. From there, take a left onto Peradeniya Road. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the signs for the Polgolla Dam. Follow the signs, and after approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach Uyanwatta - Polgolla Dam Road. Turn right, and you will see the dam and its surroundings.

Tuk-tuk
From Kandy, you can catch a tuk-tuk from any major intersection or your hotel. Ask the driver to take you to Polgolla Dam, which is about 5 kilometers away from the city center. The driver will take you directly to the dam, and the journey should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
