Getting There

    If you are driving from Kilinochchi town, start on the A9 road heading north. Continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Pachchilapalli. Look for the sign for Chundikulam Bird Sanctuary, which will be on your left. Turn onto the road leading to the sanctuary, which is marked GG7J+MV9. The entrance is approximately 1 kilometer down this road. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there may not be stations nearby.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Kilinochchi town, head to the main bus station and look for a bus heading to Pachchilapalli. The fare is approximately LKR 30-50. The bus will drop you off at the main road in Pachchilapalli. From there, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Chundikulam Bird Sanctuary for about LKR 100-200. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey with the tuk-tuk driver.
