If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the main entrance of Minneriya National Park. Take the A6 road towards Sigiriya. After approximately 10 km, you will reach the junction at Thalkote. Turn left onto Thalkote Road and continue for about 2 km until you reach the Thalkote Lake View Point. There is limited parking available near the viewpoint. Make sure to have cash on hand for any potential parking fees.

Once you arrive in Sigiriya, you can hire a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to take you to Thalkote Lake View Point.
