If you are driving from Nuwara Eliya town, head east on the A5 road. Continue for about 15 km until you reach the town of Ambewela. At the Ambewela junction, take a right onto the B30 road towards Galpalama. Drive for approximately 6 km, and you will see signs for Bomburu Ella Waterfall. There is a small parking area near the entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Bomburu Ella Waterfall via public transport, take a bus from Nuwara Eliya to Ambewela. Buses leave frequently from the Nuwara Eliya bus station. The fare is around 50 LKR. Once in Ambewela, you can either walk approximately 6 km to Galpalama or hire a tuk-tuk to take you directly to the waterfall entrance. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 300-400 LKR.

For the adventurous, after reaching Galpalama by car or tuk-tuk, you can trek the last segment to Bomburu Ella Waterfall. The trek is about 1.5 km and takes approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace. Follow the marked trail through lush greenery and listen for the sound of the waterfall as you approach.
