You may need to park your car at the nearest parking area and walk for about 1 km along a trail to reach the falls.

To reach Upper Bomburu Falls via public transport from Kandy, take a bus to Nuwara Eliya from the Kandy Bus Station. The bus ride takes approximately 3 hours. Once you arrive in Nuwara Eliya, you can either hire a tuk-tuk or take a local bus towards the falls. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 500 LKR and take about 30 minutes. If you opt for the bus, it may take longer and costs around 100 LKR, but you will need to walk about 1 km from the bus stop to the falls.
