Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the center of Nuwara Eliya, near the famous Nuwara Eliya Post Office. Head west on the main street (Upper Lake Road) for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Kandy Road (A5). Continue walking along this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the town of Kalupahana. From Kalupahana, you will see signs directing you towards Ohiya Road. Follow the signs and take the Ohiya Road to the north. Keep walking for around 2 kilometers, and you will find a small trail that leads to Devil's Staircase Waterfall. The waterfall is visible from the trail, so you should be able to hear the sound of the water as you approach.
