From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head to the main road (Hindagala Road). You can find Tuk-Tuks readily available near the bus station or around the town center. Inform the driver that you want to go to Embekka Dewalaya, located in Kandy. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. The driver should be familiar with the location.

Walk to the main bus station in Nuwara Eliya, located near the town center. Look for buses heading to Kandy. Make sure to check with the station staff about which bus to take, as there are multiple routes. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you reach Kandy, you can take a Tuk-Tuk or a local bus to Embekka Dewalaya, which is approximately 10-15 minutes away from the Kandy bus station.

If you are feeling adventurous and are in decent physical condition, you can walk towards the Kandy area. However, it's recommended to take a Tuk-Tuk or bus for safety and convenience, as the walk would take over 4 hours and the roads might be challenging.
