Walking
Starting from the center of Nuwara Eliya, walk towards the Nuwara Eliya Post Office. From there, head down the main road (Peradeniya-Badulla-Chenkaladi Hwy) towards Hakgala. After about 3 kilometers, you will see signs for Hakgala Botanical Garden on your left. The entrance is well marked, and it is about a 45-minute walk from the Post Office.

You can easily hire a tuk-tuk from any point in Nuwara Eliya. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Hakgala Botanical Garden (Hakgala Botanic Garden). The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. The drivers are familiar with the location, so you shouldn't have any issues getting there.
