Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Nuwara Eliya, head towards the main bus station located near the Post Office. From the Post Office, walk towards the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, continuing straight on the main road. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will pass the Nuwara Eliya Grand Hotel on your left. Keep walking straight, and you will see the sign for Pedro Tea Center and Factory after another 500 meters on your right. The entrance is just off the main road.

    You can easily find a tuk-tuk from any point in Nuwara Eliya. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Pedro Tea Center.' The ride will take about 10 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will likely take you through the main roads, passing by the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club and other landmarks. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to the tea factory, which is located just off the main road.

  • Bicycle

    For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in Nuwara Eliya. Start from the city center and take the main road towards the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. The route includes some uphill sections, so be prepared for a bit of a workout. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see the sign for Pedro Tea Center and Factory on your right. There is a small parking area for bicycles near the entrance.
