Walking
From the city center of Nuwara Eliya, head east towards the famous Nuwara Eliya Post Office. Continue straight on the main road, passing the Grand Hotel on your left. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the junction with the A5 road. Turn left onto the A5 road and continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Ella. Once in Ella, look for the signs directing you to Ravana's Cave, which is located off the V27 road. Follow the signs for about 1 kilometer, and you'll arrive at the cave entrance.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Nuwara Eliya, make your way to the bus station located near the city center. Look for a bus heading to Ella; these buses run frequently throughout the day. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Ella, disembark at the main bus station. From there, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to Ravana's Cave, which is about 1 kilometer away from the bus station. If walking, head south on the V27 road, following the signs until you reach the cave.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from any location in Nuwara Eliya. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Ravana's Cave in Ella. The drive will take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic conditions. The tuk-tuk will take you directly to the cave entrance, making it a convenient option.
