From Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, head southeast on the A1 road towards Kandy. After approximately 20 km (about 30 minutes), follow the signs to Kandy City Center. Once you reach Kandy, look for Sangamitta Mawatha. The Udawatta Kele Sanctuary is located near the Forest Department Office on Sangamitta Mawatha. There is parking available near the sanctuary, but it's advisable to arrive early to secure a spot. Be aware of the parking fees which may vary.
