If you are driving from the center of Polonnaruwa, take the A11 road heading east. Continue on this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the junction at Polonnaruwa. Turn left onto the Road leading to Kiri Vehera. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Kiri Vehera on your right. There is a parking area available near the site.

From the Polonnaruwa Bus Station, take a local bus heading towards Giritale. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Kiri Vehera. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk along the road leading to the site. Make sure to ask the bus conductor to inform you when to get off, as not all buses may stop directly at Kiri Vehera.
