If you are staying in Polonnaruwa town, start by walking towards the main road, A11. Head east along the road until you reach the junction with the A12 highway. From there, turn left onto A12 and continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance to Sigiriya. Follow the signs indicating the direction to the Archaeological Museum.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Polonnaruwa. Start from the town center and head towards the A11 road. Once on A11, cycle east towards the A12 highway. At the junction, turn left onto A12 and continue for approximately 10-15 minutes. Look for signs directing you to Sigiriya, and follow them to the Archaeological Museum.
