    Starting from the Sigiriya Museum, head south along the main road, which is called New Town Road. You will pass a few local shops and cafes on your left and right. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will see a sign for Sigiriya Entrance 2 on your left. The entrance is marked clearly, and you should be able to see the ticket booth ahead. Ensure to have your entrance fee ready as you approach the entrance.

    If you are staying near Sigiriya Rock Fortress, exit your accommodation and walk towards the main entrance road. Turn left onto New Town Road and proceed straight for about 500 meters. You will notice several signboards directing you towards the entrance. Look for a large archway that indicates the entrance point. This should take you around 10 minutes, and you’ll find the entrance 2 just beyond the arch.

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from your hotel and head toward Sigiriya Rock. Follow the signs leading to New Town Road. Once on New Town Road, cycle south for about 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for the entrance signs; it’s a straightforward ride that should take you around 6-8 minutes depending on your cycling speed. There is a bike parking area near the entrance.
