If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Wilpattu National Park. Head southeast on the main road until you reach the junction at Kumbukkan Oya. Turn right onto the A12 highway towards Anuradhapura. Continue on the A12 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Sigiriya. Once in Sigiriya, follow the signs for Pidurangala Rock. The rock is located just a few kilometers north of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. There is a parking area near the entrance to the hiking trail.
