From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Piazza Giuseppe Motta. Take the bus number 1 heading towards Locarno. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop 'Mogno, Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista'. The church is just a short walk from the bus stop.

First, walk to the Ascona train station. Take the train to Locarno, which takes approximately 5 minutes. From Locarno station, transfer to bus number 1 towards 'Mogno'. After about 30 minutes, disembark at 'Mogno, Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista'. The church will be a short distance from the bus stop.

Start at Piazza Giuseppe Motta, head east towards Via alla Chiesa, continue straight onto Via alle Chiese. Follow the path through the beautiful landscape for about 1.5 hours until you reach Mogno.
