If you are in the heart of Old Town, start at the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke). From there, walk along the Reuss River in the direction of the Water Tower (Wasserturm). Once you reach the bridge, continue walking along the riverside promenade, which is called Rathausquai. After a short walk of about 10 minutes, you will arrive at Rathausquai 9. You'll be greeted with scenic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains.

If you are further away in Old Town, you can take a bus to get closer to Rathausquai. Head to the nearest bus stop, which is likely 'Münster' or 'Zentralplatz'. From there, take bus line 1 or 2 toward 'Kriens, Zentrum' or 'Horw, Dorf'. Get off at 'Bahnhof' stop. From the Bahnhof, walk towards the Reuss River and follow the riverside promenade to Rathausquai. This journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes including the bus ride and walking.
