Walking

Start your journey at the Lugano Train Station (Stazione di Lugano). Exit the station and head towards the lakefront (Lago di Lugano). Walk straight down Via Nassa until you reach the lakeshore promenade. Turn right and continue walking along the lakeside path, enjoying the beautiful views of the lake and mountains. After approximately 20 minutes, you will reach the picturesque village of Gandria. From here, follow the signs for the Sentiero di Gandria trailhead, which starts at the edge of the village, leading you along the scenic lakeshore.
Public Transport

From Lugano, take the bus from the Lugano Posta bus stop (located near the train station) on line 12 towards Gandria. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Gandria stop. From the bus stop, head towards the lake and follow the signs for the Sentiero di Gandria trail. The trailhead is easily accessible from the village.
Ferry

At the Lugano waterfront, locate the ferry terminal. Take a ferry heading towards Gandria. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes and offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Disembark at the Gandria stop and walk towards the village. Follow the signs for the Sentiero di Gandria trail, which starts just beyond the village.
