Start at the main train station in Lugano (Lugano Stazione). From the station, walk to the bus stop outside the station. Take bus number 2 or 4 towards 'Morcote'. The journey will take approximately 30-35 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times. Once you arrive at the 'Morcote, Posta' stop, disembark the bus. From the bus stop, walk along 'Via da La Tor' towards 'Riva da la Tor'. Continue straight until you reach 'Riva da la Tor 18'. Torre del Capitano will be on your right.

If you're already in the center of Lugano, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Morcote. Start at the lakeside promenade and head south towards 'Parco Ciani'. Continue along the lakeside path until you reach the ferry terminal. Take a ferry to Morcote; this journey offers beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Once you arrive in Morcote, follow the directions from the ferry terminal to 'Riva da la Tor 18'. Walk along 'Via da La Tor' straight to Torre del Capitano, which will be on your right.
