Getting There

Walking
From the center of Arusha, head east on Boma Road. Continue straight as Boma Road becomes Sokoine Road. After about 1.5 km, you will reach the junction with the Moshi Road (A104). Cross over to the left side of the road and catch a 'Dala Dala' (local minibus) heading to Momela, which is clearly marked on the front. The fare is usually around 1,000 TZS. Inform the conductor that you are going to the Arusha National Park Gate.

Once on the Dala Dala, enjoy the ride for about 30-40 minutes. The Dala Dala will take you along Momela Road, and you will pass through scenic landscapes. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating you are approaching Arusha National Park. When you arrive at the Arusha National Park Gate, it will be clearly marked, and you can disembark here.
