If you are traveling by car from Mikumi National Park, take the A7 highway towards the town of Ifakara. Continue on A7 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the village of Mang'ula. From Mang'ula, follow the signs to the Udzungwa Mountains. The road may be unpaved in some areas, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. The drive from Mikumi to the Udzungwa entrance takes about 1 hour, depending on road conditions.

The bus ride takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Mang'ula, you can either take a motorbike taxi (boda-boda) for about 3,000 TZS to the Udzungwa Mountains entrance or walk, which will take about 30 minutes.
