Getting There

Walking
From the center of Zanzibar City, make your way towards the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe). Once you are at the Old Fort, head south towards the Forodhani Gardens. From the gardens, continue south along the waterfront until you reach the main road. Turn left onto the main road (Mizingani Rd) and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. After passing the Zanzibar Serena Hotel, continue straight, and you will see a sign for the Big Body Spice Farm on your right. Follow the signs leading you to the entrance.

Bicycle
Start at the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe). Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops nearby. Head south towards the Forodhani Gardens, then continue along the waterfront road (Mizingani Rd). Cycle straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the main road. Turn left, and keep an eye out for the Big Body Spice Farm signs, which will guide you to the entrance on your right after approximately 1.5 kilometers.

Public Transport (Dalla Dalla)
From the center of Zanzibar City, walk to the main bus station (Mwanakwerekwe). Board a Dalla Dalla heading towards Bwejuu. Inform the driver to drop you off at the stop nearest to the Big Body Spice Farm. Once you get off, walk in the direction of the signs for the Spice Farm, which is a short 10-minute walk from the Dalla Dalla stop.
