    If you are starting from the Stone Town area, head northwest towards the seafront. Walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe). From there, continue walking along the main road (Mizingani Road) until you reach the junction with Kenyatta Road. Turn right onto Kenyatta Road and walk straight. After a while, you will reach the crossroads with the main road leading towards the west. Continue straight, and after approximately 20 minutes, you will see signs for the Zanzibar Spices and Heritage Centre on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Stone Town. Start by cycling northwest along the Mizingani Road until you reach the Old Fort. Then, take a right onto Kenyatta Road and continue cycling straight. Follow the road until you reach the junction where you need to turn left towards the west. Keep cycling straight for about 20 minutes, and look for signs indicating the Zanzibar Spices and Heritage Centre on your left side.

  • Public Transport (Dala Dala)

    To reach the Zanzibar Spices and Heritage Centre via public transport, you can take a Dala Dala (minibus) from the main station in Stone Town. Look for the Dala Dala heading toward Mkokotoni or Nungwi. Inform the driver to drop you off near the Spice Centre. The ride will take about 30 minutes.
