Getting There

    If you are starting from the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe) in Stone Town, head east towards the waterfront. Walk along the shoreline until you reach the Forodhani Gardens. From there, continue walking along the coast. After about 10 minutes, take a right turn onto the main road (A1) heading northwest. Keep walking for approximately 20 minutes, and you will see signs for the Zanzibar Spices and Heritage Centre on your left.

    You can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in Stone Town. Once you have your bike, exit Stone Town towards the main road (A1). Follow the signs heading northwest. Maintain a steady pace for about 30 minutes, and you will arrive at the Zanzibar Spices and Heritage Centre on your left. Remember to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic.

    Locate a Dalla Dalla (shared minibus) station in Stone Town, preferably near the Old Fort. Look for a Dalla Dalla heading towards the western part of the island. Once you get off, walk a short distance back towards the direction of the main road (A1), and the centre will be on your left.
