Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Chiang Rai Bus Station, head southeast on Thanalai Road toward the city center. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Phahonyothin Road. Turn left onto Phahonyothin Road and walk for about 500 meters. Look for signs directing you to the Walking Street, which will be on your right. The market starts around 5 PM on Wednesdays.

Tuk-Tuk
From your hotel or any location in Chiang Rai, you can easily find a tuk-tuk. Just tell the driver 'Walking Street' or 'Thanalai', and they will take you directly there. The fare should be around 40-60 THB depending on your starting point. The tuk-tuk will drop you off right at the entrance of the Walking Street.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in the city. Start from the city center and head towards Thanalai Road. Cycle straight for about 1.5 kilometers, then turn left onto Phahonyothin Road. Continue for about 500 meters until you reach the Walking Street. Look for the signs as you approach.
