Getting There

Car
If you are driving from inside Kibale National Park, head towards the Kichwamba Road. Follow the signs leading to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Continue on this road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Kyansama Viewpoint. Turn left at the junction and follow the signs. The viewpoint is about 5 kilometers from the junction, and you'll find a parking area available for visitors. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some sections may be rough.

Public Transportation
To reach the Kyansama Viewpoint using public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kibale National Park to Kichwamba. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Kichwamba junction leading to Queen Elizabeth National Park. From the junction, you will need to arrange a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to the viewpoint, which is about a 5-kilometer ride. Be prepared to negotiate the fare with the boda-boda rider, which typically costs around 10,000 UGX.
