If you are traveling by car, start from the main road leading into Queen Elizabeth National Park. From the main park entrance, drive towards the Kasese road. Keep an eye out for the signs for Kichwamba. Continue driving for about 10 kilometers until you reach the Kichwamba area. Look for the Equator View Safari Lodge sign, which will direct you to the lodge. The total driving time is approximately 20-30 minutes depending on road conditions.

Public Transportation
For travelers using public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kasese town to Kichwamba. These matatus regularly depart from the central taxi park in Kasese. Inform the driver that you are heading to Kichwamba, and they will drop you off at a suitable point near the lodge. From the drop-off point, you may need to walk about 2 kilometers to reach the Equator View Safari Lodge, so wearing comfortable shoes and carrying water is advisable.

If you find yourself needing to walk from a nearby area, ensure you are heading towards Kichwamba. From the main road, look for local signs that lead to the Equator View Safari Lodge. The walk may take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. It’s recommended to carry a map or use a GPS-enabled device to assist you in navigating the paths leading to the lodge.
