Getting There

Car
From the main entrance of Queen Elizabeth National Park, head towards the southern part of the park. Follow the signs directing you towards the Kasese Road (also known as the Mbarara-Kasese Road). Drive approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the junction at Kikorongo. At this junction, turn left onto the road leading to the Nyungu Crater Lake. Continue on this road for about 12 kilometers, passing through scenic landscapes. As you approach the lake, look for signage indicating the entrance to Nyungu Crater Lake. There may be a small fee for entry, so be prepared with cash.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a taxi or a matatu (shared taxi) from the main town of Kasese to Kikorongo.
