If you are driving from the main park entrance of Queen Elizabeth National Park, head south on the main road towards the town of Rubirizi. After approximately 20 km, you will reach the Mbarara - Kasese Road intersection. Turn right onto Mbarara - Kasese Road. Continue driving for about 12 km, and you will find Nkombe Forest Reserve on your left. Look for signs indicating the reserve as you approach.

From the main park area, take a matatu (shared taxi) or a bus heading towards Rubirizi. These typically leave from the nearest bus station in the park area.
