If you are traveling by car, start from Kabale town, which is the nearest major town. Head southeast on the Kabale-Rubanda road, following the signs towards Rubanda. Continue driving for approximately 23 kilometers until you reach the junction to Ruhija. Take the right turn and follow the road for another 10 kilometers until you see the sign for Ruhija Gorilla Friends Resort Campsite. There is a parking area available at the campsite.

Public Transport (Matatu)
For those using public transport, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kabale town to Rubanda. The matatus leave from the main taxi park in Kabale. Once you arrive in Rubanda, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) or walk to reach the Ruhija Gorilla Friends Resort Campsite, which is about 10 kilometers away. If you opt for a boda boda, the cost should be around 10,000-15,000 UGX. Make sure to agree on the price before starting your journey.
