If you are driving from Rwenzori Mountains National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park, start by leaving the park and heading south towards the Nyamwamba Road. Continue along this road until you reach the junction with the Mbarara - Kasese Road (approximately 30 km). Turn left onto Mbarara - Kasese Road and drive for about 40 km. You will see signs directing you to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Katunguru. The entrance is located at V2HX+F8C, Mbarara - Kasese Rd, Katunguru. Be aware that you may need to pay an entrance fee to access the park, which varies depending on the activities you plan to do.

To reach Queen Elizabeth National Park using public transportation, start by finding a local taxi or bus heading towards Kasese from Rwenzori Mountains National Park. Travel on this mode of transport until you reach the Kasese town bus station. From there, you can catch another taxi or minibus that goes to Katunguru. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to be dropped off at the entrance of Queen Elizabeth National Park, located at V2HX+F8C, Mbarara - Kasese Rd, Katunguru. There may be a small fare for the taxi/minibus ride, usually around 10,000 - 20,000 UGX depending on the distance.
