If you're driving, begin your journey on the A83 from wherever you are in Argyllshire. Follow the signs for Lochgilphead. Once you reach Lochgilphead, continue on the A816 towards Kilmartin. Dunchraigaig Cairn is located along the A816 road, approximately 5 miles south of Lochgilphead. There is a small parking area near the cairn, and you can easily access it from there.

Once in Lochgilphead, you will need to catch a local bus heading towards Kilmartin. The bus service may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance. Get off at the stop closest to Dunchraigaig Cairn on the A816. Be prepared to walk approximately 0.5 miles to reach the cairn from the bus stop.
