If you are driving from any location in Berwickshire, head towards the A1 road. Follow the A1 southbound until you reach the junction for the A720, also known as the City Bypass. Merge onto the A720 and continue westward. Take the exit for the A90 towards Edinburgh. Once on the A90, follow the signs for the city center. As you approach Edinburgh, stay in the left lane and exit onto the A902, which will lead you towards the city center. Continue straight, then take a left onto Dean Bridge, which will lead you to Dean Path. There is limited on-street parking available nearby, and parking fees may apply.

If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a train from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Edinburgh Waverley Station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Upon arriving at Waverley, exit the station and walk to the bus station. Take bus number 24 or 29 towards the western neighborhoods of Edinburgh. Get off at the stop for 'Dean Bridge.' From there, walk down the hill towards Dean Path. The walk will take approximately 10 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedules as they can vary based on the day of the week.
