Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center, start by heading southwest on Broadmead towards the area known as Broad Quay. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront. You will see the Bristol Aquarium on your right. From here, follow the waterfront path along the Harbour, enjoying the scenic views. Keep walking until you reach the junction with Millenium Square. Continue straight past the square, and you will come to the bridge that leads to the SS Great Britain. Cross the bridge, and as you do so, you'll see Bathurst Basin on your left.

    From Bristol city center, head to the bus stop at the top of Broadmead. Look for bus number 8 or 9, which heads towards the Harbourside area. Get off at the stop named 'Bristol Watershed.' Once you exit the bus, walk towards the waterfront and turn left. Continue walking alongside the water until you reach the Bathurst Basin area. The walk from the bus stop to Bathurst Basin should take around 10-15 minutes.
