Getting There

Walking
If you are in the city center, start by heading southwest on Broadmead towards the area known as Broad Quay. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront. You will see the Bristol Aquarium on your right. From here, follow the waterfront path along the Harbour, enjoying the scenic views. Keep walking until you reach the junction with Millenium Square. Continue straight past the square, and you will come to the bridge that leads to the SS Great Britain. Cross the bridge, and as you do so, you'll see Bathurst Basin on your left.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Bristol city center, head to the bus stop at the top of Broadmead. Look for bus number 8 or 9, which heads towards the Harbourside area. Get off at the stop named 'Bristol Watershed.' Once you exit the bus, walk towards the waterfront and turn left. Continue walking alongside the water until you reach the Bathurst Basin area. The walk from the bus stop to Bathurst Basin should take around 10-15 minutes.

Cycling
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing schemes available in Bristol. Start from the city center and head towards the Harbourside area via the dedicated cycle paths. Follow the cycle lanes along the waterfront. As you approach the SS Great Britain, keep an eye out for Bathurst Basin, which will be on your left. The ride should take about 10 minutes depending on your pace.
