    Start at Chester City Centre, near the Eastgate Clock. Head south on Eastgate Street, which will lead you to St. Werburgh Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A540 (City Road). Keep walking along City Road until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with the A5116.
