Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Chester Railway Station, exit the station and turn left onto Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A5268 (City Road). Follow this road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with the A5116. Turn right onto the A5116 and continue until you see the entrance to the Chester City Walls on your left, just before the Eastgate Clock.

    From the Chester Bus Interchange, exit towards Foregate Street. Turn left and walk straight until you reach St. Werburgh Street. Continue walking along St. Werburgh Street until you come to Northgate Street. Turn left onto Northgate Street and follow it until you reach the Eastgate Clock. The entrance to the Chester City Walls will be nearby.

    If you are near the Chester Cathedral, exit the Cathedral grounds and head towards the Cloisters. Turn left onto Abbey Square and continue straight until you reach the junction with the A5116.
