Bus
From Edinburgh city center, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the Lothian Bus number 44 from St Andrew Square. The bus will take you directly to Musselburgh. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'Musselburgh, Edinburgh Rd' stop. Once you get off, walk along Edinburgh Rd for about 5 minutes, and you will find Musselburgh Shell on your left.

Head to Waverley Station in Edinburgh, which is centrally located. Take a train heading towards North Berwick or Dunbar. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Get off at Musselburgh Station. From the station, exit and turn left onto Station Road. Walk straight for about 15 minutes, then turn right onto Edinburgh Rd. Continue walking for about 5 minutes to reach Musselburgh Shell.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk from Edinburgh to Musselburgh, start from the East End of Princes Street. Head east towards the Scottish Parliament and follow the path through Holyrood Park, exiting at Duddingston. From there, follow the path along the coast towards Musselburgh. The total walking distance is about 6 miles and will take approximately 2 hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
