Walking
If you're starting from Edinburgh Waverley Station, exit the station and head towards the city center via Market Street. Continue straight until you reach the Royal Mile. Once you reach the Royal Mile, turn left. Walk along the Royal Mile, passing numerous shops and historic sites. You'll find The People's Story Museum located at 163 Canongate, just a short walk down the road on your left. The museum is directly accessible from the Royal Mile.

From Edinburgh Waverley Station, walk to the nearest bus stop at St Andrew Square. Take the Lothian Buses number 3, 7, 8, 29, or 49, and get off at the Canongate stop. After getting off, walk towards the Royal Mile, and you will find The People's Story Museum at 163 Canongate, just a few minutes' walk away.

If you're near the tram stop at York Place, take the tram towards the Airport and get off at the Princes Street stop. From there, walk down to the Royal Mile by heading towards the Mound and then continuing onto the Royal Mile. Once on the Royal Mile, walk down until you reach Canongate. The People's Story Museum will be located at 163 Canongate on your left.
