If you are starting from the city center, head southeast towards the Royal Mile. Walk along the Royal Mile until you reach the junction with North Bridge. Turn right onto South Bridge, and continue straight until you reach the junction with the A7. Cross the road at the traffic lights and continue straight along the A7. As you walk along the A7, you will pass several bus stops. Keep an eye out for the 'Duddingston' sign. When you reach Duddingston, look for Old Church Lane on your left. Turn onto Old Church Lane, and follow it until you reach Jock Tamson’s Gairden at 5 Old Church Ln, Duddingston, EH15 3PX.

From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Lothian Bus number 3 or 49 towards Duddingston. Make sure to check the bus schedule as the frequency may vary.
