If you are driving from Stornoway, take the A857 road heading west. After about 18 miles, you will reach the village of Barvas. Continue on the A857 until you see signs for the A858. Follow the B8011 for approximately 5 miles, and then take a left onto a minor road leading towards Swainbost.
