If you are driving, head towards Alford. From the center of Alford, take the A944 road towards Westhill. After approximately 3 miles, look for the sign for Craigievar Castle on the right. Turn onto Craigievar road, and follow it for about 1 mile until you reach the castle entrance. There's ample parking available.

If you are using public transport, start by taking a bus from Aberdeen to Alford, which is serviced by Stagecoach. Once you arrive at the Alford bus station, you can either take a taxi directly to Craigievar Castle or walk. To walk, head north on the A944 for about 1.5 miles until you see the sign for Craigievar Castle on your left. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
