Walking
If you are starting from Piccadilly Gardens, head southeast towards Market Street. Continue onto Market Street until you reach the junction with Cross Street. Turn left onto Cross Street and walk until you reach the end of the street. You will see a large intersection; cross over to the opposite side onto Deansgate. Walk straight until you reach the junction with the A635(M) road. Turn right onto the A635(M) and continue walking until you see a sign for Chinatown on your left. Nicholas Street is within the Chinatown area.

From the Manchester Piccadilly train station, follow the signs to the Metrolink tram stop. Take the tram towards Altrincham or Eccles and get off at St. Peter's Square. Once you exit the tram, head towards the exit leading onto Oxford Street. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Portland Street. Turn left and continue to walk until you hit the junction with the A635(M). Turn right and follow the signs for Chinatown, where Nicholas Street is located.
