Bus
From Manchester city centre, head to the bus station at Piccadilly Gardens. Take bus number 350, which goes directly to Uppermill. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Uppermill bus stop, walk straight along High Street for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Saddleworth Museum & Gallery on your right.

Train
From Manchester Piccadilly train station, take the train towards Huddersfield. Change at Stalybridge station, and then catch the train to Uppermill. The total travel time is around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Uppermill station, exit and walk along Station Road. Continue straight until you reach High Street, then turn left. The Saddleworth Museum & Gallery will be on your left after a short walk.

Start at Manchester Piccadilly Gardens and board the Metrolink tram towards Ashton-under-Lyne. Get off at the Ashton bus station and transfer to bus number 350 towards Uppermill. After a 30-minute bus ride, disembark at the Uppermill stop and walk 5 minutes along High Street to reach the Saddleworth Museum & Gallery.
