From Newcastle city centre, head to the Eldon Square Bus Station. Take the bus number 1 or 2 towards 'North Tyneside'. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings. The journey typically takes around 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Rising Sun Country Park' stop on Whitley Road. From there, it's a short walk to the centre, just follow the signs to the park entrance.

Make your way to the nearest Metro station in the city centre, either 'Central Station' or 'Eldon Square'. Take the Metro towards 'North Shields' and get off at 'Benton' station. From Benton station, exit and head west on the A191 (Benton Road). After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach Whitley Road. Turn left and continue for another 10-15 minutes until you see the entrance to The Rising Sun Countryside Centre.

The centre is located at Whitley Road, NE12 9SS, which is about a 20-minute walk from the centre of Benton.
