From Hockley, start by heading southwest on Hockley towards Burton Street. Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the junction with Upper Parliament Street. Turn left onto Upper Parliament Street and continue straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass the Nottingham Contemporary art gallery on your right. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout at the junction with Lenton Road. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Lenton Road. Nottingham Castle will be on your left after a short walk of about 5 minutes.

From Hockley, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Upper Parliament Street. Catch the number 34, 35, or 36 bus heading towards Lenton. The bus journey will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Nottingham Castle' stop. After disembarking, walk a short distance down Lenton Road, and you will find Nottingham Castle on your right.
