Car
If you are travelling by car, head towards Stromness from your current location in Orkney. Follow the main A965 road until you reach the roundabout at the entrance to Stromness. From there, take the first exit onto the A965 towards Sandwick. Continue on this road for about 2 miles, and then turn left onto the B9056 towards Sandwick. Skaill House is located at Sandwick, Stromness KW16 3LR on your left-hand side. There is parking available on-site.

To reach Skaill House using public transportation, take the bus service from Kirkwall or another main town in Orkney to Stromness. Look for the bus routes that head towards Sandwick. Once you arrive at Stromness, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles to Skaill House. Follow the A965 road out of town towards Sandwick and then take a left onto the B9056. Skaill House will be on your left. Alternatively, you can check if there are any local taxi services available to take you directly from the bus stop to Skaill House, which may incur additional costs.
